Why Switch Waste Collection Company?

Problems can plague commercial and business waste disposal, such as unreliable collections, additional hidden charges and poor customer service. Combine this with increasingly demanding legislation regarding the separation of different types of waste, and costs can soon spiral.

Tailored Solutions

Every business has unique waste disposal requirements, so we start by conducting a free Waste Audit. Our specialists evaluate your specific waste types and volumes, then identify the provider most suited to handling your unique requirements.

Our approach ensures that you only pay for the services you need. This could include general waste, recyclables, or more complex waste such as hazardous materials.

Transparent pricing model

All our quotes include collection rates with a fixed service charge. Our comprehensive, free audit ensures there are no hidden fees. By searching and evaluating licensed suppliers for you, we save you time as well as money.

Helping you navigate new legislation

Are you aware that from the end of March 2025, all businesses in England must have separate collections for recycling, food, and general waste?

If your business employs 10 people or more and produces over 5kg of food waste per week, you must now separate recycling and also provide a food waste bin, by law. Businesses must not place food waste in general waste.

The Welsh government has already banned businesses from sending any amount of food waste to the sewer. They have also prohibited businesses from sending separately collected waste to incineration or landfill, and from sending wood waste to landfill.

The Government’s Simpler Recycling scheme is quite complex, but we can assist your business with making sure you’re compliant. We can also make sure you’re not paying for more than you need.

100% Carbon Offset

The Government aims to reduce carbon emissions from food waste in landfills through dedicated food waste collections. In 2018, the UK produced 9.5 million tonnes of food waste, but it is committed to halving that amount by 2030.

By recycling more and separating food waste, your business will reduce its carbon footprint. We also ensure that we offset 100% of the carbon produced by the collection and disposal of your waste.
